Tapa Cloth

This week Henderson Class looked at different Tapa cloth and how they were made. We learned about the meaning of the designs and what they were used for. We then used tradition patterns mixed with our own designs to create our own tapa cloth. We went over our designs with Indian ink and then scrunched our papers up and covered them in brown dye. This made them look like real tapa cloth! Check out some our art below and let us know what you think!
