Howdy Bloggers,
What a busy week we've had in Parekowhai class. An enormous truck, with the Warriors logo plastered on it, came to visit the school. When it was unfolded, it became a mobile classroom. Room 6 were the first class out of the seniors to visit the truck. We went in on the Wednesday and Friday - 2 very wet days!
It was a Tu Kaha programme led by 2 fabulous people called Matua Tom - who is actually our very own Yazmine's uncle - and Miss Jess. They talked to us and did some awesome activities with our class around Hauora - which is our wellbeing. Check out some of our collaborative pieces of writing we did about what we learned.
Plug Alert!! Heaps of photos were taken on the 2 days that we were learning in the truck. Don't forget you can check out our 'photo gallery' here to see what other wonderful learning we do!
That's all for now. 'Til next time - keep blogging!
Miss B and the Room 6 Crew!
Kia ora Parekowhai,
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you are having an amazing term of learning! It's great to have visitors come to school and share new learning with you. I tried to check out your photos but the link doesn't appear to be working. Maybe you could check that it is able to be opened by anyone with the link. Let me know when it's fixed so I can check them out.
